The Riverboat - Gold Room:
Our private Gold-room space, this is a recently refurbished space which is perfect for an upbeat, intimate party atmosphere, the room has a fully integrated plug & play sound system & interchangeable Neon lighting allowing you to create a perfectly bespoke personalised event. This makes it an attractive option for events such as birthdays, anniversaries, hen, stag and wedding after parties. The Room accommodates up to 30 seated and 50 standing.
Package example based on 30 people:
Private hire of the room with plug & play system - £100
Buffet for 30 guests - £450 (£15 per person).
Room hire fee waived with buffet package.
Optional Dj & Karaoke - £300 (5 Hour set) extended hours available.

Great location. Room is a nice size for 20-30 guests and included the outside balcony area overlooking the tables. The food was decent. Staff were friendly and happy to help, offering it many times. We were able to come in the day before to decorate which helped massively. DJ arranged by the team was good, karaoke they offered went down very well. Was an added bonus that guests could go downstairs and gamble (winnings paid for the night).
The wallpaper in the room would not keep anything stuck to it, so decorations kept falling down. Tape or glue dots could not hold it for long. Not able to have your own food, have to use the catering offered which is a bit pricey.

Everything... from booking till actual event Jennifer & Mark made it so easy for us and reassured us that nothing was an issue. The buffet was perfect and substantial. As advised by Mark the right amount for all our guests. The room was sir conditioned and with ample space to seat our guests and dance. Being allowed to use space outside the room was also a great idea for anyone wanting a break from all the noise of the music. Talking of which our dj, was great as well. He played to all tastes and was really helpful with some older guests. All our guests commented on how tasty the buffet was and being able to to decorate the room early was great, also being able to walk away after the party without having to clear up was a definate plus. Please thank all the staff for being amazing and making out celebration so seamless and enjoyable.

The planning before the event was excellent. The event team at the venue were very helpful and welcoming as were the bar staff. We had plenty of time to decorate the venue before the party. Buffet was lovely and drinks packages were well organised for guests arriving. Dj helped get the party started and karaoke an extra bonus. Good value for money and a great night was had by all.

Room was a great size, screen was perfect, could play our own music, was away from everyone else, the food that was there was decent enough
Food came out 50 minutes late, didn't include halloumi fries when we were told they would have these, DJ didn't really listen to us when we just asked for music to be played - kept talking on the mic and trying to get people up for karaoke but we had agreed several times we would do this when we wanted to
